Last Wednesday, November 13th the SolBridge Global Startup Center hosted a special lecture by Jorge Luis Gallegos, the Commercial Counsellor of Ecuador to South Korea.

With over a decade of experience fostering economic and trade relations between Ecuador and Korea, Mr. Gallegos shared his insights on building successful partnerships with Korean companies. His lecture emphasized the importance of empathy and a deep understanding of Korean culture in navigating business negotiations.

Drawing from his extensive background in promoting Ecuadorian exports, attracting investment, and facilitating trade missions, he provided practical strategies for effective collaboration with Korean businesses. Students gained invaluable perspectives on cultural intelligence and its role in forging strong international business relationships.
