Biography

Dipak C. Jain is a globally recognized marketing and innovation expert whose insights have inspired a generation of business leaders to pursue success with significance.

Prior to being named as Honorary President at Woosong University in 2017, he served from 2011 to 2013 as Dean of INSEAD, an international business school with campuses in France, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. Before joining INSEAD, Dr. Jain was Dean of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management from 2001 to 2009. Before that appointment, he served as the Kellogg School’s Associate Dean of Academic Affairs from 1996 to 2001, working closely with Dean Donald P. Jacobs to set the school’s agenda for curriculum design and faculty research initiatives. In recognition of his many scholarly achievements and outstanding teaching, he also was named in 1994 the Sandy and Morton Goldman Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies and Professor of Marketing at Kellogg, whose Marketing Department he joined as a faculty member in 1986.
Dr. Jain’s academic career began as a student in Tezpur (Assam) India. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and statistics (1976) and his master’s degree in mathematical statistics (1978) from Gauhati University, where he taught for four years before enrolling in the University of Texas (Dallas), where he completed his Ph.D. in Marketing in 1986.

Dr. Jain’s influential career spans nearly three decades as an educator, a senior business school administrator, and a consultant to corporations, governments, and world-renowned figures. Throughout his career, he has furthered a pedagogical model that combines academic excellence and business relevance to produce high-impact results with social significance.
Dipak Jain’s board service also has earned him distinction. He currently serves as an Independent Director on Boards of John Deere & Company (USA), Northern Trust Corporation (USA), Global Logistics Properties (Singapore) and Reliance Industries (India). He is a former director at United Airlines, Hartmarx Corporation and Peoples Energy. He has served as a consultant to many firms, including Microsoft, Novartis, American Express, Sony, Nissan, Eli Lilly and Company, and Hyatt International.

Biography

Dr. Shuming ZHAO is Senior Distinguished Professor and Honorary Dean of the School of Business, Nanjing University, China. He serves as President of the International Association of Chinese Management Research (IACMR, Third Term), President of Jiangsu Provincial Association of Human Resource Management, Vice Chairman for the Steering Committee for National Business Degree Programs of the Ministry of Education of China, and Vice President of Chinese Academy of Management.

Dr. Zhao’s research area is human resource management, multinational business management, and entrepreneurship. He has been chairing several research projects for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has published more than 10 books and over 300 academic papers and articles. He received the best research award from the Ministry of Education of China in 2006, Honorary Doctoral Degree from Seton Hill University in 2006, Chancellor’s Medallion by University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2008, the Fudan Management Excellence Award by Fudan Premium Fund of Management in 2010, and the Outstanding Social Science Expert of Jiangsu from Jiangsu Provincial Government in 2015.

Dr. Zhao is the Distinguished Visiting Professor at Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh and College of Business, the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is also the Visiting Professor at Peter Drucker Graduate School of Management, Claremont Graduate University, USA.

Biography

Dr. Mark Esposito is recognized internationally as a thought leader on The Fourth Industrial Revolution. He is a global expert of the World Economic Forum and advisor to national governments. He was inducted in 2016 in the radar of Thinkers50 as one of the 30 most prominent rising business thinkers in the world.

Dr. Esposito serves as Professor of Economics, Strategy and Foresight at Hult International Business School (where he directs the Futures Impact Lab) as well as at Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education where he teaches an award winning xecutive course on Artificial Intelligence. He is equally an appointed full Professor of Public Policy at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, in Dubai. He is Co-Founder at Nexus FrontierTech, an AI scale-up venture and research lab as well as of The Circular Economy Alliance, an edutech firm.

He has authored/co-authored 2 Amazon bestsellers: Understanding how the Future Unfolds (2017) and The AI Republic (2019). His latest books are: “The Emerging Economies under the Dome of the Fourth Industrial Revolution” (Cambridge University Press, 2022) and “The Great Remobilization: Strategies and Designs for a Global Smarter World", (MIT University Press, 2023). His next book will be "Digitizing the Emerging Economies" (Cambridge University Press, 2024)

Biography

Jerman Rose Director of the International Business Institute and Scholarly Professor in the Carson College of Business of Washington State University, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, and was Dean of Solbridge International School of Business, in Daejeon, South Korea. In addition, he served as the Senior International Officer at Washington State University. Dr. Rose has extensive practical experience in the creation and operation of new ventures. He helped found and run an international franchising company. Dr. Rose has conducted research on a variety of entrepreneurship topics and has published in Journal of Business Venturing, Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research, Journal of East West Business, Small Business Strategy among others. He was the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Washington State University for 10 years
