Biography
Dr. Endicott’s areas of specialization include all aspects of Japanese and Korean studies, Asian security studies, with special emphasis on the Korean Peninsula, American defense policy, and professional military education. His published books include Japan’s Nuclear Option (Author), The Politics of East Asia (Co-author), American Defense Policy (Co-Editor and Contributor), and Regional Security Issues (Co-author). A book on American foreign policy written by Endicott and two colleagues, U.S. Foreign Policy: History, Process, and Policy, was published in 2005. He received his Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University in cooperation with Harvard University. He has a Master’s Degree in Law and Diplomacy, and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs also from Fletcher; His Master’s Degree in History is from the University of Omaha, and his B.A. in Political Science (cum laude) is from The Ohio State University where he was inducted into the American academic society Phi Beta Kappa. In October 2010, Endicott was awarded an Honorary Doctorate (Doctorate Honoris Causa) from the University of Toulouse, founded in 1229 in Toulouse, France, in recognition of his efforts to build a regime of international peace and cooperation in Northeast Asia. Dankook University of Cheonan, South Korea awarded Dr. Endicott his second Honorary Doctorate (Political Science) in 2019 also for his efforts to establish a regime of peace in Northeast Asia. Dankook was established in 1947, the first university established after National Liberation Day of Korea (15 August 1947).
Dr. Endicott came to Woosong University, SolBridge International in 2007 from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he served as Professor and Center Director in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs for almost twenty years. He founded the Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy in 1990 which had as its main focus the integration of policy with technology. In 1991 he introduced the concept for a Limited Nuclear Weapons-Free Zone in Northeast Asia (LNWFZ-NEA) which continues to be examined in international forums – the most recent plenary conference (including representatives from Argentina, China, Finland, France, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Russia and the United States – DPRK representatives met later in Paris) being the 13th Plenary Meeting of the LNWFZ-NEA held in Toulouse, France, in October 2010. He co-founded the Sam Nunn Security Program funded by the MacArthur Foundation for advanced pre-doctoral candidates in science and technology. He is now Professor Emeritus. Dr. Endicott previously had a 28-year career in the United States Air Force, serving almost eight years in “foreign service” areas. He also served as a member of the Senior Executive Service of the Department of Defense for slightly more than three years. As an officer of the United States Air Force, he held the positions of Chief of Targeting, 5th Air Force Headquarters, Deputy Head of the Political Science Department at the United States Air Force Academy; Director, International Affairs for the Planning Directorate of Air Force Headquarters, the Pentagon; Deputy Air Force Representative to the Military Staff Committee of the Security Council, the United Nations; and Associate Dean of the National War College. He had operational assignments in Japan (two), Hawaii, and Vietnam which took him frequently to Korea, the Philippines, and most other states of Asia including the PRC. Upon retiring from the Air Force in 1986, he became the Director of the Institute for National Strategic Studies with a civilian rank of SES-4 – a position equating to Major/Lt. General.
Dr. Endicott has served as Chairman of the Interim Secretariat of the Limited Nuclear Weapons-Free Zone for Northeast Asia since 1996. Both Dr. Endicott and the Limited Nuclear Weapons Free Zone for Northeast Asia Program were nominated for the 2005 and 2009 Nobel Peace Prize. The Japan-America Society of Georgia awarded him the Mike Mansfield Award, and the Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Greater Atlanta presented him the General Raymond G. Davis award in 2006 for lifetime service toward peace and stability in Northeast Asia. In 2007 that organization presented Dr. Endicott with the General Raymond G. Davis Leadership Award. Dr. Endicott also received “Professor of the Year” award from a campus-wide student organization. He served as President of the Southeast U.S.-Korea Chamber of Commerce for two years (2004-2006), and served as the Chairman of the Board and Special Representative to Daejeon until 2008. Dr. Endicott was Honorary Consul for Mongolia to the State of Georgia from 2005 until 2007. Endicott served as a “Senior Mentor” in the POSTECH Mentorship Program involving fifteen executives throughout Korea to share leadership experiences with selected POSTECH students for 2010-2011. In 2010 he was also appointed as a Special Ambassador for the Korean professional baseball team, the Hanwha Eagles. In February 2015 he was appointed as Advisor to the Board of Directors of the College of Business and Economics (CBE) of Qassim University in Buraidah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and was inducted into the business education honor society Beta Gamma Sigma in June of 2015. In January, 2016 he became a Member of the KEI Advisory Council (Korea Economic Institute of America) – a “…policy outreach and educational organization focused on promoting economic, political, and security relations between the United States and the Republic of Korea.” In August 2016, he became a member of the President’s Advisory Board for the George Mason University of Korea. On 2 March 2017, he was honored by Woosong University by creating a new school that will stress the social sciences at Woosong: the Endicott College of International Studies. A formal naming day and ground breaking ceremony was held that day participated in by dignitaries from China, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Korea, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam. In April 2018 he was one of 11 AACSB members chosen to form the AACSB VAG (Volunteer Advisory Group) which will review “volunteerism” within and outside of AACSB; hopefully to increase institutional social responsibility across a wide range of activities. On 13 March 2019 he was appointed to the Board of Advisors for the Republic of Korea Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). He holds a number of military decorations for his 31-year service in the U.S. Government, including the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster for 50 combat missions, the Air Force Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, among others.
In September 2012, Dr. Endicott travelled to Moscow to participate in a conference marking the 50th Anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis. During that period in October 1962 he was a Strategic Air Command Augmentee to the Joint Strategic Target Planning Staff in Omaha, Nebraska. He was paired with Colonel-General Esin who also was a Captain at the time and in charge of a missile unit responsible for defending Cuban beaches. These two veterans of the Cold War recounted past events in the spirit of friendship. In February 2013, Endicott assumed the additional title as Acting Dean of SolBridge International School of Business until July 2014. During that time SolBridge was awarded full accreditation by AACSB the foremost international accreditation organization for business colleges in the world. SolBridge received its second certification from AACSB on 15 March 2019. At this time he continues to serve as President of Woosong University and Vice-Chancellor of the SolBridge International School of Business, and he reassumed the role of Acting Dean in November 2015 until 1 April 2016. On 25 February 2019 he reassumed the Acting Dean’s position. Woosong University itself is a medium-sized specialized university with approximately 13,500 students attending seven colleges: Railroad Transportation College, Hotel Management and Culinary Arts College, Digital Media College, and the Health and Welfare College. SolBridge International School of Business (our fifth college) is an all-English language college offering BBAs and MBAs to over 1,270 students. Thirty percent are Korean, 20 percent Chinese and 26 percent Russian speaking from Russia and Central Asia, and the rest of the 24% come from 52 other nations of the world. The total number of nations present at SolBridge is 55. As the sixth college, Sol International School offers specialized English language tracks in the four Korean language colleges, and the new Endicott College of International Studies, the seventh college at Woosong, offers courses in Korean and English language becoming the liberal arts college of Woosong.
He and his wife, Mitsuyo, have two children and four grandchildren who live in Atlanta, Georgia. They enjoy walking along the banks of the Yu Dung Cheon River, watching tennis, baseball and sumo, studying the Korean language, and getting to know Daejeon and Korea better.

Biography
Dr. Jerman Rose, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, and is Dean of Solbridge International School of Business, in Daejeon, South Korea. He has over 40 years experience in management, teaching, research and consultant work in the United States and abroad. He has broad international program development experience and has worked extensively since 1989, in Eastern Europe, the countries of the former Soviet Union, China, Thailand, and Vietnam. His international teaching and program development has taken him to more than 60 countries.
Dr. Rose has extensive practical experience in the creation and operation of new ventures. Dr. Rose has conducted research on a variety of entrepreneurship topics and has published in Journal of Business Venturing, Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research, Journal of East West Business, Small Business Strategy. Under APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) sponsorship he recruited and led an international team of scholars in the development of a curriculum and cases for training small and medium size enterprise managers in marketing. He has special capabilities and experiences in international entrepreneurship and marketing.

Biography
Chia-Hsing Huang is a professor of SolBridge International School of Business, Korea. Currently, he is professor and vice dean of SolBridge International School of Business. He has Ph.D. degree from University of Pennsylvania USA in 1994, and MBA degree from University of Connecticut USA in 1990. Professor Huang has 20 years teaching experience in the Undergraduate, MBA, EMBA and Ph.D. levels in a number of the leading universities in America, Kazakhstan, Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand. He was elected to be the finance department chairman and worked as an advisor on finance, investment, merger and acquisition, real estate, and strategic planning and implementation to many companies and institutions both in private and public sectors, such as construction company, security firm, bank, TV, computer network, and city government. He also had work experience in investment analysis of TV talk shows and radio call in programs. Professor Huang has published a number of books and several papers in the leading international journals.
